Keynote speaker, Bjorn Ihler, shared his story of surviving mass violence. Bjorn is an academic, activist, technologist and storyteller working to end extremism. He is influenced by his experiences as a survivor of the attack on Utøya in Norway on the 22 July, 2011 and subsequent work with experts and former extremists.  Click for more information

Parent Connect Program – Facilitator Training

The Parent Connect program partners with immigrant & refugee communities by organizing mothers who are interested in building community. We work with women who desire a deeper and more effective engagement in the world and support our participants in determining the resources, learning, and networks they need.
